Rod Klein is a digital artist, photographer, videographer, web designer, and writer. Earning a Master of Fine Arts Degree in photography and video from UCLA Rod also studied at the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. Before becoming a PADI MSDT Instructor in 1992, Rod worked in the television industry as an editor, graphics designer, and director.
Rod’s images have appeared in Scuba Diving Magazine (US), Sport Diver (US), Asian Diver, ScubaDiver Australasia, Diving Adventure Magazine, Fathoms, Tauchen and Unterwasser. An expert in Photoshop and digital image processing, Rod conducts digital workshops at various resorts and liveaboards. Rod was formerly digital editor for Fathoms Magazine, field editor for Scubadiver Australasia specializing in digital photography and is currently Senior Editor for Diving Adventure Magazine and a regular contributor to Asian Diver with a column on underwater photography.
Rod is represented by Seapics.com, Waterframe.com, and Alamy.com. In addition, Rod has been a judge a several prestigious underwater photo contests. Including: 2005 Asian Diver Shootout held at Kungkungan Bay Resort and Tasik Ria, North Sulawesi; 2006 Layang Layang Digital Shootout, and 2007 Ocean Odyssey Shootout in Lembeh Strait.

Didn’t realize you spent time with Maluku Divers, we are returning in November for our 2nd trip with them before boarding Seahorse in Raja… this was before we found out you were going to be there over Christmas. Would like to join you again for good times, just not 12/15 to 1/1.
